The Ned is a 1920s-inspired wedding venue located in the centre of London that was co-created by Soho House & Co. in London and the Sydell Group in New York. This opulent throwback to the 1920s takes place in the historic old Midland Bank building, which Sir Edwin "Ned" Lutyens designed in 1924.
This intimate wedding venue in London, which just opened in 2017, offers an alluring blend of historic grandeur and contemporary elegance that will instantly elevate your slick city wedding. A match made in heaven for those of you who love vintage inspired decadence and are looking for that wow factor.
The hotel has nine unique restaurants where family and friends can savour Italian food, American classics, Asian-Pacific specialities, and more. Additionally, there are 252 bedrooms accessible for a weekend or overnight visits, each of which bears witness to antique 1920s decor.
Asylum Chapel
If you're looking for an historic and raw wedding venue then this one might be for you. The Licensed Victuallers Benevolent Institution constructed the Asylum Chapel for the Caroline Gardens residents who were former employees of the local alcohol trade. It has a Grade II classification and was built in 1826.
The chapel was bombed during World War II, losing its roof and being allowed to deteriorate before being partially rebuilt. This explains the lovely patina of decay that developed within as the numerous paint layers peeled.
Full of detail and unique character, the Asylum Chapel has capacity for 120 people at your ceremony and is perfect for the drinks reception that follows. After this, take a stroll and make use of their sister venue AMP Studios for your sit down meal and party, a short walk just off Old Kent Road.
Marylebone Town Hall
Westminster's Old Marylebone Town Hall is no exception. One of the most popular wedding venues in the country, this Grade 2 listed building has hosted many weddings throughout the years, including Sir Paul McCartney's! It's easy to understand why because of it's stunning façade and rich historical interior.

The You Plus Two room only occurs on specific Tuesday mornings, and is ideal for those that want to keep their ceremony low-key. You and two witnesses will be the only people involved in this simple civil marriage, which will last ten minutes. They offer a simple script and forbid any other guests from attending, not even a photographer (don’t worry we can still capture some beautiful photos around London after!). And since it's a straightforward ceremony, only the exchanging of rings is allowed.
